HTTrack looks like what I’m looking for-an excellent freeware. Seems to be developed no more, but I think there are several download sites you can get it from. It saves complete sites as single chm-files. There is a free lite version too.Īnother interesting approach is website packer. I found CyberArticle rather useful for archiving and managing website content. One I use occasionally for downloading entire sites is HTTrack. I wonder if anybody used/still using these oldies to capture complete websites, and whether there’s a modern Windows alternative for SiteSucker? I wish I could supply better links, but here’s a PCMag page about SiteSnagger: I Googled and discovered that back in the days of Windows 95/98 there was a software called SiteSnagger. However, I’d still love to download complete websites to my HDD.
